All classes are not created equal
Please check the designated level of the classes offered.
All instructors will follow the protocol for the level
listed for the classes. Instructors will modify for specific
challenges still following the curriculum of the level
stated on the class sign-in.
Stretch /Strength Rehab Mat
A slow paced class for those needing review or absent
from usual activities. STOTT PILATES® five basic principles
will be reviewed with suggestions for basic safe exercises
at home. Get started with gentle stretches and light strengthening
exercises.
Reformer
Level I/ Mat Level I and Introduction classes
The Essential Reformer curriculum will be followed. Equipment-based
beginning level classes. The addition of spring tension
will challenge your strength and stability.
Here’s the place to start. All levels are welcome.
Reformer Level I-II
The Essential Reformer curriculum will be followed at
a quicker pace further challenging strength, flexibility,
endurance and coordination. The Intermediate Reformer
curriculum will be introduced. All levels are welcome,
with instructor permission.
Reformer Level II
The Intermediate curriculum will be followed. Prerequisite:
A good understanding and execution of Essential Reformer
Level I-II. All levels are welcome, with Instructor permission;
attending class twice per week is highly suggested.
Reformer Level II-III/ Sports Conditioning
and Jump board specialty classes
The Intermediate curriculum will be followed at a quicker
pace further challenging strength, flexibility, endurance
and coordination. The Advanced Reformer curriculum will
be introduced. Prerequisite: A good understanding and
execution of Intermediate Reformer Level II. Instructor
permission; attending class twice per week is highly suggested.
Golf Group Reformer
The special golf Pilates curriculum is easy to follow.
This special curriculum focuses on improving flexibility
and strength for the total body while enhancing posture,
balance, and coordination. It is particularly effective
for golfers developing core strength through out the body.
By conditioning the core muscles at every joint stability,
flexibility, and smooth continuous motions gives golf
swings, more accuracy, power and speed. Professional golfers
have gravitated to Pilates due to the fact that Pilates
focuses on some of the same areas needed to become a better
golfer. Mind Focus, Flexibility, Balance, Muscle Symmetry,
Strong Core Muscles, Fluid Motion
