Our classes are small to provide all of our students with maximum instructor attention.
However, we encourage anyone new to Pilates to take a series of private lessons before attending classes. This will ensure you are getting the most out of your Pilates classes.

SUP Pilates Adventures
SUP Pilates Adventures
Take your Pilates Mat practice outside and on to a stand up paddle board.
This class is designed to develop core strength on an unstable surface. Pilates and SUP share many of the same fundamentals and is a great way to get everyone outdoors.

Meet Our Instructors
The highly trained staff at Pilates Maui will create sessions that meet your specific needs while providing a safe and challenging workout.
Owner of Pilates Maui, PMA®-CPT
Deborah Cassel has been co-owner and operator of Pilates of Cherry Creek since 2008. Deborah has an extensive Pilates education. Originally certified through Polestar and Physical Mind Institute in 2004, she has also completed Classical Pilates instruction (through Romana Kryzanoska lineage) and has completed continuing education through the Stott repertoire. Deborah finds joy in adapting Pilates to people of all abilities. She has experience working with people with Muscular Dystrophy, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia, and is extremely talented at finding ways to make Pilates work for you. Deborah is also certified through World Paddle Association and Paddlefit level II instructor. Deborah continues to dance and enjoys snowboarding, downhill mountain biking and standup paddle boarding. In 2013, ever on the search for her next adventure, she added a second studio to her list of duties, taking on ownership and management of Pilates Maui.
Katie Marie Caccamo
Katie grew up enjoying sports and dance. She studied Sports Medicine as her major and minored in Nutritonal Science at Santa Barbara University where she earned her Master’s Degree. Katie discovered Pilates in 2000 and began training at Teague Classical Pilates Studio in Agoura Hills, California. She also was taught privately by Classically trained Pilates Teacher Geri Arnais in Westlake Village, California. Katie earned her Pilates certification through Physical Mind Institute under Maria Leone at the prestigious Bodyline Pilates Studio in Beverly Hills, California. She has an intense love for the ocean and moved to Maui in 2005.
A Northern California native, Sarah found Pilates during college, in the quest for rehabbing her chronic knee pain. Once she discovered that the core strengthening of Pilates was the only thing that took her pain away, she was hooked. Now 8 years later, Sarah is a certified Pilates Method Alliance instructor, with an emphasis prehab for athletes of all levels, and rehab for injuries including but not limited to neck, spine, knees, shoulders, as well as paralysis. She is a classically trained instructor through Pilates Institute of Boulder under the tutelage of Richard Rossiter, and then mentored by master trainer Cara Reeser of Pilates Aligned. Her continuing education includes an extensive look into Kathy Grant work, Neuro Kinetic Pilates by Alejandra Monsalve, as well as an emphasis on the advanced classical repertoire. Sarah was also recently named as the Lead Instructor for Alison Franco Pilates Teacher Training program.
I have been certified and teaching Pilates 1989. I currently hold many certifications including post rehab and athletic training. I feel safety is of utmost importance. My constant certification renewal and continuing education credits keep me aware of new safety standards and the latest medical and fitness research. My training is extensive because everybody is different. I want to deliver a personal training program that is tailored to each individual needs. Certified Mat, Physical Mind Institute, mat, reformer, Cadillac, chair, barrels beginner to advanced and special populations with Stott Pilates.
Diane has over 15 years of experience teaching, coaching, instructing and motivating others in fitness. She has focused her “helping others” philosophy to the fitness of those she works with. Diane has a wonderful way with clients and has success in helping them realize their potential. Diane trained in Canada at Stott headquarters and is Stott certified in mat and reformer. She is also trained in other Stott equipment and modalities such as Chair, Cadillac, Barrel, ISP, Stability Balls, Mini Flex balls, Bands, Rings and etc. In addition, Diane is a certified personal trainer, fitness instructor and pre and post natal specialist.
Mr. Sagi-Woodson was born and raised in Israel. He had an extensive dance career for 15 years in which he performed classical and contemporary Ballets all over the Americas, Europe, Asia and Australia. Mr. Sagi-Woodson had the honor to perform for the prince and princess of Monaco, the Thai royal family and the Israeli president and prime minister. He received his Pilates training and certification through Balanced Body University, under the mentorship of Troy McCarty. Mr. Sagi-Woodson is a featured Pilates model for balanced body and Troy McCarty Pilates.
Nancy Sumsion is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant originally from California with over 25 years experience in the fitness and health industry. Starting out as a certified aerobic instructor, aquatic instructor, and personal trainer at the local community fitness center her interest grew into the physical therapy field. She decided to further her education and graduated with honors as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She continues to hold her certification in aquatic exercise and has recently become a Stott Pilates instructor in mat work and reformer training as well as a Reiki practitioner. Nancy uses her knowledge of traditional and non-traditional therapy techniques for each of her client’s individual needs. Nancy is a highly motivated and compassionate person who is committed to helping others.
